YS Jagan puts an end to Kapu quota row

YSR Congress Party chief and Leader of the Opposition in AP, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has once again made his party’s stand on the Kapu reservations issue.

Speaking at a mammoth public meeting at Pithapuram, YS Jagan said that his party is firm on the Kapu reservations.

“I only said since the Centre was seized of the matter, it could be resolved by the Centre in the wake of the Supreme Court judgement. I made it clear in the past that out party is for the reservations to Kapus without affecting the existing quota and there is no question of going back on my stand,” he asserted.

The YSRCP chief has lashed out at Chandrababu stating that the latter had promised to allocate Rs 5,000 cores but had just given a pittance. ” I will allocate Rs 10,000 crores for Kapu Corporation,” he added.
