Leader of the Opposition in AP and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy called for Andhra Pradesh bandh on July 24, Tuesday.

He addressed a press conference in Kakinda before resuming his Praja Sankalpa Yatra. Expressing displeasure over the manner in which the TDP’s No-Confidence motion against the Central Government, YS Jagan said that the BJP-TDP ties was all evident as Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said TDP was still BJP’s friend and their friendship would continue into the future.

He also sought the support of all the political parties for the bandh. “Let’s wage a real war. Ask your 25 MPs to quit and join our MPs on another hunger strike. Let’s draw the attention of the entire country who will definitely sit up and take notice,” YS Jagan said.
