With a view to ending accommodation woes of Tirumala pilgrims, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) is constructing a three-storey building atop Tirumala. The building will also accommodate volunteers both men and woman who are engaged in Srivari Seva. The building is being constructed on a war-footing with an amount of Rs 43 crore. According to the Tirumala temple officials, the building would be operation by March 2018. As of now, Tirumala has 20 special accommodation, 41 guest houses, muts, 38 spiritual accommodations.

The female volunteers of Srivari Seva are accommodated in PAC 3 building while male volunteers are lodged in a building near bus stop. Since the volunteers have been facing problems at these accommodations, the TTD has decided to provide new lodging with good amenities.

The new building with modern facilities is coming up on the way to Gogarbam. As many as six people can be accommodated in one single room. Keeping the rush of pilgrims in mind, the building will have enough place for everything.
