A section of media reported that YSR Congress Party MLA Raghurami Reddy is all set to quit the YSRCP to join the ruling TDP. After debacle of Nanadyal by-poll, speculations are ging overboard that many YSRCP leaders are switching their loyalities to the TDP.

With reports on Mydkur MLA Raghurami Reddy leaving the party along with his supporters to join TDP doing the rounds, confusion have struck among the party. However, setting the record straight, Raghurami Reddy strongly condemned the rumours.

“Dogs will bark when Elephant passes by. Few evil forces have been spreading baseless rumours. Those people who are aspiring for YSR Congress Ticket in next elections are behind this negative campaign. Winning on the ticket offered by one party and joining other party is completely against My Principles,” he said.

He also announced that he will contest from Mydukur Assembly Constituency in the 2019 General Elections.
