Telugu Desam Party National General Secretary Nara Lokesh may be sulking for delay in assigning ministerial responsibility to him. One gets this impression by observing the developments in the ruling Telugu Desam Party.
Nara Lokesh used to attend meetings regularly but not for the last couple of weeks. He has not made his presence felt even in the party workers training camp held at capital city Amaravati. According to the TDP sources, Lokesh is angry for the delay in allotting new responsibilities to him in government.
For the last two years, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has indicated that party will give new responsibility to Lokesh. Initially, it was indicated that he would send him to Parliament. Later, there was a demand of ministerial assignment in the State. The news has already gone viral in political circles in AP. But, none of them materialized. Lokesh may be upset at this juncture and kept himself away from Party programmes. If the is true, Naidu should take the final call on Lokesh’s role in the government soon.
