Will TDP-Congress join hands?

Much to the shock of everyone, TDP chief and AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and AICC president Rahul Gandhi met at Bengaluru for the first time. At the swearing in ceremony of JD(S) leader H.D. Kumaraswamy as Karnataka Chief Minister, both Rahul Gandhi and Chandrababu shook hands amid smiles.

It is a known fact that late NTR floated TDP to end Congress rule. But with Chandrababu walking over Rahul Gandhi and shaking hands with the Congress president, the development has raised many eyebrows. Chandrababu is also seen patting Rahul Gandhi on the back.

After the ceremony, when media asked Chandrbabu if he will join hands with the Congress party, Chandrababu evaded the question.

“Today, JD (S) formed Government with the support of Congress. It’s a good sign. All the regional parties need to remain united to safeguard our interests,” he asserted.
