Gali's wife to be TDP's MLC candidate

The TDP has decided to field wife of late Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu Gali Sarawatamma as its nominee for the Chittoor district local bodies constituency MLC post. The post fell vacant due to the sudden demise of Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu. On Saturday morning Gali Saraswatamma and other Gali family members met Chandrababu Naidu at Amaravati and Chandrababu informed them of his decision.

In fact, both the sons of Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu vied with one another for the party ticket. But, Chandrababu chose Saraswatamma as the consensus candidate.
