Anudeep Durishetty gets first rank in UPSC Civil Services Exam

The results of Civil Services Exam 2017 have been out. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the list on Friday.

Anudeep Durishetty secured the top rank. He hails from from Metpally in Jagityal District of Telangana and he achieved this in his fourth attempt.

He is the son of Additional Assistant Engineer Manohar Durishetty. He is currently Assistant Commissioner in the Indian Revenue Service. Anudeep, an OBC candidate, qualified the examination with Anthropology as his optional subject. He has graduated with BE (Electronics & Instrumentation) degree from BITS, Pilani.

While Sai Praneeth, the son of former CBI JD Lakshminarayana, has secured 196th Rank, other Telugu youth Seelam Sai (43), Narapureddy Mourya (100), G Madhuri (144), Vivek Johnson (195), Bhargav Sekhar (816) and Y Akshay Kumar (624) have achieved the respective ranks.
