It is back to campaigning for the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi , this time in his home state, Gujarat where assembly elections are scheduled on December 9th and 14th 2017. And the extent to which BJP is bringing in the PM shows its desperate effort to salvage this most “prestigious” bastion of the ruling party.NRIs are also coming together from US, UK, Canada and Australia to boost the BJP prospects in Gujarat.

PM ‘s Gujarat itinary

A rally in Bhuj on Monday will be followed up with public meetings all over Saurashtra and South Gujarat. In the course of next 15 days, Mr. Modi is expected to address at least 20 public meetings and 8 rallies in his home state. Many union ministers and other parliamentarians will also campaign in Gujarat in the run up to elections.

No wonder the winter session of the Parliament had to be postponed. First things first and Gujarat is now the first priority for the BJP.
