On the expected lines the AP Legislative Assembly special session adjourned sine die immediately after the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Bill is passed. The special session was conveyed to pass GST Bill, however the Opposition YSRCP members insisted on discussing burning chili farmers issue and raised slogans in favour of their demand. The government refused to accept the Opposition demand and the Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao declared the Bill is passed in the din and adjourned the House sine die.
Earlier the Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu introduced the Bill and the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu observed the Bill is very useful for both the State and the Centre. He described it as a biggest reform every initiated after economic reforms of 1990s.
