A day before the last phase of polling in Uttar Pradesh, nine persons were injured in a train blast in the general coach of the Bhopal-Ujjain passenger train near Jabdi in Madhya Pradesh.

One of the suspects, Saifullah, who was holed up in a building in Thakurganj in Lucknow, was killed after an encounter lasting several hours. The National Investigating Agency(NIA) is investigating the whole case. Sources are revealing that Khorasan ISIS module was behind the train blast. The ISIS Khorasan module, an international terror outfit is linked with Al –Qaeda.

Uttar Pradesh ATS Inspector General Asim Arun confirmed that Saifullah was killed in the encounter and cops have recovered pistols, arms, and ammunitions(630 live cartridges!) from the rented apartment. The cops also claimed to have found ISIS flags and some literature related to ISIS Khorasan module.
