Telangana Congress senior leader Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy has threatened that he would go to High Court on construction of new Secretariat buildings in Hyderabad. The Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhara Rao is planning to handover the empty blocks of Andhra Pradesh Secretariat in Hyderabad and construct a new buildings by demolishing the old buildings. However, the opposition parties are opposing the decision.

The T-Congress leader has intensified his protest over the CM’s decision and termed the decision of the state government to construct the new Secretariat building as a ‘blunder mistake’. He alleged that TRS government is focusing only on ‘Vaastu’ rather than concentrating on welfare of the people. He further added that KCR government is wasting public money by going for new building unnecessarily. Komati Reddy remarked that government is planning to spend crores of rupees to build new secretariat while on the other side, it failed to release sufficient funds to the welfare schemes of farmers, students and poor in the state. He alleged that TRS government is working against democratic spirit.
