What started as cold war between Civil Supplies Minister Paritala Sunitha and Dharmavram sitting TDP MLA Varadapuram Suri turned into ugly street fight, a couple of days ago. Though the immediate reason for the turn of events was said to be a flexi war, the real reason was not just that, according to party insiders.
Paritala Sunitha wants to field her son Paritala Sriram from Dharmavram constituency in the next general elections on TDP ticket and started focusing her son as promising young leader and ofcourse a possible party candidate in next general elections. And both factions are up in arms over the issue for quite some time and the Diwali Greetings flexi installed by Paritala faction without local MLA face on it has sparked off into war on Wednesday.
The MLA faction taking objection to it has torn off the flexi in the midst of squabbling between two factions. The police tried to pacify the situation but in vain and as recourse imposed 144 section in the town till 2 November. Meanwhile apprehensions are ripe that faction fluids will return if Paritala Sriram enters the fray.
