Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandraskhra Rao has powered several promises to Brahmana Community in the state. KCR has announced that he will construct a Brahmana Sadan in the city that will serve as a hub for welfare activities for the community. The Chief Minister further added that the government will also formulate multi-stage strategies for the welfare of the poor in the Brahmin community and it would formulate a strategy for improving the living conditions of Brahmins.
KCR has also said there had been an increase in religiosity in the society that was being reflected in increasing number of people visiting temples. The government will also take steps to protect endowment land owned by various temples in the state. On Sunday the Chief Minister headed a meeting on review on welfare of Brahmin Community. The meeting was attended among others by advisors to the government KV Ramanachari, Vidyasagar Rao, Lok Sabha member Capt Laxmikantha Rao, chief secretary Rajiv Sharma, IVR Krishna Rao and several representatives of Brahmin welfare associations.
