He announces his interest to make KCR life-story
Sensational director, Ramgopal Verma has now shifted his focus on making biopics instead of making crime thrillers. He announced his new project on Twitter that he would make a film on TRS founder, Telangana Chief Minister, K. Chandrasekhara Rao.
RGV has described KCR as ‘Telangana Bruce Lee’. He also said that he is not going to title the project as KCR but in the reverse as ‘RCK’. A day before RGV announced this project, another film maker Madhura Sridhar has announced that he would make KCR’s biopic. However, RGV would project the KCR life on Silver Screen. He further added that two or three other filmmakers have also expressed interest in making a film on KCR but none has succeeded to materialize the project.
According to censor rules, if a film is being made on an individual it is necessary to get a NOC letter from concerned person. However, it is learnt that KCR has not given any express permission to anyone to make a film on him.
Earlier, Ramgopal Verma had announced that he would make a Telugu film after ‘Vangaveeti,’ a biopic on Vijayawada based Kapu leader Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga. Now his tweets have raised several questions in the political sections on his commitment on the project.
