Actress finalized for YS Vijayamma role?

We all know that Malayalam mega star Mammootty is playing the role of late CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy in his biopic, which titled as “Yaatra,” under the direction of Mahi V Raghav. Since then, everyone is eagerly waiting to know the actress who is going to play YS Vijayamma’s character.

There were rumors that Nayantara and Radhika Apte are approached for the role, but none of them confirmed.

As per the latest updates, Ashrita Vemuganti who entertained the audience with Baahubali 2, especially in Kanna Nidurinchara song. She played the role of Anushka’s brother’s wife in Baahubali. After this film, she didn’t sign any Telugu film as she went to the USA on a dance tour, as she is Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam dancer but it seems like she accepted to play the role of YS Vijayamma now.
