When Keerthy Suresh said no to this director....

Tamil beauty Keerthy Suresh, who debuted in Telugu with Ram’s Nenu Sailaja, is one of the top heroines in Telugu film industry.

She is currently busy with two big films- Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyathavaasi and Mahanati, the biopic of Savitri.

She is playing the title role in Mahanati. The film has a huge star cast including Samantha and Dulqer Salmaan.

The grapevine has it that director Naga Ashwin, who wanted her to put on weight to suit the role, requested her the same. But she reportedly said no to the director and told him that she is not at all ready to gain extra kilos.

So, Naga Ashwin decided to go ahead and putting more efforts to show Keerthy as Savitri in the film.
