Vunnadi Okkate Zindagi has generated a lot of buzz with its songs and trailers. The film features Ram Pothineni, Lavanya Tripathi and Anupama Parameswaran in the lead roles. The movie has hit the theaters on Friday. Let’s see how it has shaped up.

Abhi (Ram) and Vaasu (Sree Vishnu) are friends from childhood and they are very close buddies. Both Abhi and Vaasu love the same girl Mahaa (Anupama Parameswaran). Her entry changed their entire lives. Another girl (Lavanya Tripathi) enters into their lives. What happens next? Where does this triangle story end? How Abhi and Vaasu resolve the issue forms the rest of the story.

Ram Pothineni is totally at ease as Abhi and is wonderful in this film. He manage to keep it simple and straight. He acted in a very matured manner.

Both Anupama Parameswaran and Lavanya Tripathi have given their best and Anupama once again steals the show. Sree Vishnu gets meaty role and he performed very well. Others did their part well.

Director Kishore Tirumala is very good at portraying the triangle love story and true friendship. He weaved a wonderful story around the two friends and the way he has stuck to the script is wonderful. Had he taken care of slow pace, the film could have been far better.

Music is an asset. Cinematography complements the music and direction. The dialogues are extraordinary and you will instantly fall in love with them. Background score is decent and it is a quality movie with rich production values. Editing is neat and it could have been better in second half. Two songs- Life is a Rainbow and Rayyi Rayyi Mantoo songs were shot very well.

But the film’s first 30 minutes is very slow and taste the patience of audience. Stunning performances of Ram and Anupama, good camera work, pleasant music and story are the major highlights of the movie. Screenplay and slow narration are the main drawbacks. The emotional part in the movie will surely strike a chord with the audience.

Vunnadi Okate Zindagi is a feel good film and will majorly be liked by family audience and youth. Hope it does well at the box office .
