Kamal Haasan Follows Rajinikanth Footsteps

Very recently, digitally remastered version of the film Baasha released in Chennai and entertained the audiences.Superstar Rajinikanth played the lead role in the film. Suresh Krissna is the director. Basha will always remain as one of the special films and a cult classic in South Film Industry. Now, Kamal Haasan is following the footsteps of Rajinikanth and he is going to get his super critically acclaimed film Aalavandhan for a re-release.

The film that was made basing on the book ‘Dayam’ released in 2001. it released in Telugu with the title Abhay. The film had Raveena Tandon, Manisha Koirala, Vallabh Vyas, and Milind Gunaji in supporting roles. The film has received many awards and critical acclaims but failed at the box office. The film is now getting digitally remastered.

The makers are planning to release it in 500 screens worldwide. S Thanu produced Aalavandhan on V Creations.
