PM Modi has to go " Mamata Banerjee

Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal is emerging as the most vocal and strong opponent of Narendra Modi.

In her latest salvo against Modi, she said that a National government should be formed immediately to save the country which can be headed by any other BJP leader like Advani, Rajnath or Jaitley. But Narendra Modi must go as the current situation is unacceptable.

A national government is a coalition government which is formed in crisis situations.

The arrest of the Trinamool Congress leader in the Lok Sabha, Sudip Bandyopadhyay, by the CBI in connection with the Rs 1,700 crore Rose Valley Ponzi scam of 2013, has escalated the confrontation between West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee and Prime Minister Modi, which has been simmering for some time.

The arrest of actor-turned Trinamool MP Tapas Pal first and then of Sudip Bandyopadhyay were driven by the Modi government’s ‘vendetta’ against her party which has been in the forefront of the opposition’s campaign against demonetization, alleged Mamata Banerjee.

Mamata takes on Modi head-on

“I appeal to everybody, take a vow. I will either die or live but remove Modi from politics. There is no place for dictators like you, Modi Babu. This is a democratic country,” she had earlier said in her rally in Kolkata.

“The entire country is suffering. There is no money in banks or ATMs. So far, 80 people have died due to the hardship caused by demonetisation. The whole of India is in a bad shape, but Modi is sleeping and making big speeches. He is giving us lectures on ‘Mann ki Baat’. Most of the people in rural areas do not have bank accounts. What will people eat if they don’t have money? Will they eat debit cards or mobiles?”
