‘My brain is my enemy’: Telugu news anchor ends life

Popular news anchor V Radhika allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the fifth floor of her apartment in Moosapet on Sunday.

She was working in V6 channel. According to reports, the anchor returned from her work after anchoring the 9 p.m. bulletin on Sunday and went directly to the apartment to commit suicide. She left a suicide note and the police recovered it from her bag. She has stated that depression is the reason for her suicide and that “her brain is her enemy.”

“Due to depression I am killing myself. Nobody else is the reason. My brain is my enemy,” she wrote.
She had divorced her husband six months ago and had been staying with her parents. The police have filed a case and have begun an investigation.
