Protocol lapse on day one; Raj Bhavan and EC scolds Assembly secretary

On the very first day of the AP Assembly budget session a very serious protocol lapse has been reported. While the Governor delivering his customary address to the joint session of the Assembly, the Assembly Secretary, who is supposed to be in House, left the House in hurry. Just after the Governor started his address the secretary, left the House to be in China Babu’s service. The Governor started his address at 11.06 am and China Babu Lokesh came to the Assembly Secretary, who is also the returning officer of the ongoing Council elections at 19.09 to file his nomination papers. At it, ignoring the Governor and protocol norm the Secretary Satyanarayana rushed to his chambers to receive china Babu. And to the surprise of everyone there China Babu offered prayers in the retuning officer’s office as if it is his own house.

And it was reportedly known that the Governor ESL Narasimhan and Chief Election Officer Bhanwarlal took strong exception to the twin lapses and CEO is reportedly called for report from the returning officer. Meanwhile, YCP MLA Aalla Ramakrishna Reddy said that the government appointed Satyanarayana as Secretary though he is not qualified to hold the post. So to save his position Satyanarayana needs to be in the good looks of China Babu, he quipped.
