Vijayawada: With a view to provide relief to the people in the wake of ban on currency notes, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday said that the State government is devising plans to bring down the problems of the common man.

As part of this, Naidu said that consultations are on with Reserve Bank of India and the Centre. Total of Rs 6,500 new currency notes have so far arrived in Andhra Pradesh. Of them, Rs 4,500 cash has come with all Rs 2,000 denominations, he said. That is the reason why people are facing problems. Naidu said that people are fearing to spend Rs 100 notes. With this, money circulation has been stopped. The circulation would resumed if the new currency notes hit the market, he said.

Stating that there is severe psychological problem among the people, Naidu said the government is working out to make things normalcy. The government is trying to bring Rs 500 notes as soon as possible, he said. While there severe anger among the people, Naidu is trying back the Centre over the decision.
