CBI Official JD Lakshminarayana Quits Post To Join Politics?

Senior IPS official JD Lakshminarayana, who headed CBI probe into alleged disproportionate assets case against YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy quit the post.

Strong speculations are doing rounds that Laxminarayana will foray into active politics soon in Andhra Pradesh. His decision to quit the profession before getting DGP rank assumed political significance following the fast pace political developments on special status issue in Andhra Pradesh.

Lakshminarayana has played a key in the the investigation into Satyam multi crore fraud case.

Speculations are rife that he may join either TDP or Jana Sena. He is expected to make the announcement soon.
