Rani Rudrama to contest from Narsampet?

Rani Rudrama was one of the top anchors in both TV9 and Sakshi news channels. As she wanted to become a politician, she quit her profession and joined the active politics.

She began her political career by joining the TRS but she shifted her loyalties to the YSRCP when KCR refused to give her the ticket. Her oratorical skills and her family’s political connection, she built her good base in the constituency.

But months before the 2014 general elections, Rani Rudrama she had to leave the YSRCP as YS Jagan announced his complete support for Samaikyandhra.

Ever since she left the YSRCP, she has not been seen in the active politics. She became politically active recently. Latest reports say that she all set to join hands with Jitta Balakrishna Reddy of Bhongir who floated “Yuva Telangana’. She is likely to contest from Narsampet on Yuva Telangana ticket.
