People Assault Sub Inspector In AP village

A village in Nellore district in Andhra Pradesh witnessed mob violence. A large group of people assaulted Sub Inspector Lakshman Rao in Ravuru police station furious over the attack on on a youth by the cop.

With the sudden attack of people, the frightened police officer rushed into a lock up in the station. He and a constable received injuries. They were shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.

As the situation went out of control, heavy forces were deployed in the village.
