Former YSR Congress Party MPs, who recently resigned to their posts demanding Special Status to Andhra Pradesh, have staged protest near Parliament in New Delhi on Wednesday.
Speaking to the media at the protest venue, the YSRCP leaders said that they will continue to fight for achievening SCS to Andhra Pradesh.
Before staging protest, they met at YV Subba Reddy’s residence to discuss the strategy to be adopted by its party during the Parliament session.
” For the sake of SCS, we have sacrificed our posts and sat on an indefinite fast in New Delhi. If only TDP MPs followd us in protest and resigned from their posts, the situation would have been completely different. TDP is staging a new drama every day and the TDP did not have moral credibility to move a no-trust motion in Lok Sabha,” they added.
