Politics hot up in AP over YSRCP MP resignations

The politics have hotted up in Andhra Pradesh. The issue of special status to Andhra Pradesh is rocking the state and the major political parties. While the TDP ministers had resigned from the Central Cabinet, the YSRCP MPs have resigned from the Lok Sabha.

Their resignations have since been accepted by the Lok Sabha speaker. It is unclear whether there would be bye elections to these five MP seats.

Political pundits say that there would not be by elections of the general elections are less than a year away. The political activity has suddenly picked pace in AP.
