YS Jagan to rename WG after Alluri Sitarama Raju

YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy promised of naming the West Godavari district after freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju.

Addressing a public meeting at Akiveedu, the YSRCP chief made this announcement amid huge applause.

Stating that the government failed to honour the great freedom fighter, YS Jagan said that he will name the district after Alluri Sitsrama Raju. The members from Kshatriya community submited a memorandum to the YSRCP.

“Lakes, ponds and water bodies everywhere had become saline under Chandrababu Naidu‘s regime and even bore wells yielded salt water, farmers, and people everywhere told him. One can imagine the condition of this region which had water everywhere by the fact that people took to the streets in protest asking for drinking water under TDP,” YS Jagan said.
