Karnataka IT raids shake TDP leadership

Any news of an IT raid or CBI investigation is sending shivers down the spine of the TDP leadership. They are also shaken to the core at the Enforcement Directorate’s possible raids.

Recently, the IT officials raided Karnataka CM Siddaramaiha’s close follower Mahadevappa’s house. His offices and residences were raided. Mahadevappa is known to take care of Siddaramaiah’s financial dealings. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu feels that there could raids on his and his associates’ assets soon after Karnataka elections. Sources say that several key files from the Hyderabad-based Heritage office have already been moved out.

Is it because of this fear that Chandrababu is often asking the people and the TDP cadre to form a protective ring around him?
