Former Union minister and BJP leader Daggubati Purandareswari took a pot shot at the AP CM Chandrababu Naidu for his complaint against the Centre for injustice being meted out to Andhra Pradesh over special status.
Demanding the TDP government to put an end to the false propaganda against the Centre, Purandareswari said that the Central Government provided adequate funds for AP’s development.
She said that the TDP leaders’ comments that the promises made at the time of bifurcation were not fulfilled are completely wrong. The centre had allotted as many as 11 prestigious institutions including an IIT and an IIM in a short time and also supported the State in many activities including laying of roads, building houses and also in the Chandranna Beema Yojana.
The former union minister asked the TDP leaders to sit and analyse if the Central Government had ever refused help to the State.
