TDP senior leader and Guntur MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao has prepared ground to bring his son Rayapati Ranga Babu into active politics in 2019 elections.
As he was getting old and the TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu hinted the MP of getting the party ticket is remote in next elections, the TDP leader decided to promote his son as his successor in politics. Ranga Babu was already participating actively in party programmes and eyed to contest from Guntur (West) Assembly Constituency. The present MLA M Venugopal Reddy was sulking for promoting the MP son as the next contender in his constituency.
Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao was also promoting his son Kodela Sivaram and Vijayalaxmi as the next generation leaders from his family. Sivaram is planning to contest from Narasaraopet Assembly Constituency and the Speaker will fight from Sattenapalli in next elections.
