How Nirav Modi bribed PNB officials

Nirav Modi, the mastermind behind the Rs.12,700 crore scam of the Punjab National Bank bribed the bank officials with gold coins and diamond jewellery.

The Central Bureau of Investigation which is now investigating the case has found that a manager of the Mumbai branch of PNB which is at the centre of the scam,a Mr. Yashwant Joshi who is now in custody has revealed that Nirav Modi had gifted him with gold coins and diamond jewellery in the form of earrings in the form of bribe.

The officials at the Punjab National bank continued to issue fraudulent Letters of Undertaking(LOUs) to Modi and his uncle, Mehul Choksi for not one, two years but for 7 years. The CBI revealed the news of bribery for the first time since it made arrests last week.
