YSR Congress senior leader and Nellore MP Mekapati Raja Mohan Reddy said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will face defeat if his TDP fields third candidate in the biennial elections to three Rajya Sabha seats this month.
The TDP has comfortable strength to win only two seats and YSR Congress will clinch one seat in the elections. Reports say Chandrababu eyed to grab three seats by luring YSR Congress legislators. The YSR Congress MLAs who joined TDP already revolted against Chandrababu for not giving the assurance of party tickets in next elections.
There were reports that Chandrababu allured YSR Congress MLAs with money and party tickets in next elections . As the centre declined to the TDP demand for delimitation of the Assembly seats, the YSR Congress leaders were anger on TDP.
