Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma has landed in another trouble. Recently, he attended for the investigation before the Hyderabad’s CCS Police in connection with the case filed by Women Activist Devi. There are reports that the cops may arrest RGV anytime soon.
All Indian Democratic Women Association (AIDWA) members have staged a 48-hour hunger strike against Visakha Police for not taking any action against RGV for making GST and derogatory comments on AIDWA Member Mani during a TV show.
Reacting to the protest taken up by various women rights organisations, AP Home Minister Nimmakayala Chinna Rajappa asked Visakha Police Commissioner to book case against RGV for his objectionable comments against women. The MVP police reportedly booked a case against the film director under IPC Sections 504 and 509.
