Karthi Pinned All Hopes on 'Khakee'

Movies based on real stories and inspired by real life incidents have always been successful in Telugu, whenever they were well-handled. ‘Raktha Chairthra’, ‘Anthapuram’ and the recent sensation ‘Arjun Reddy’ are few examples.

‘Khakee’ is going to be another movie in this category. Director H Vinoth wrote this script based on some real life shocking incidents happened between 1995 and 2005. Karthi was also quite excited and shocked when the director approached him with the script because he had been intrigued by the case for a long time and always wanted to do a film based on that.

This is director Vinoth’s first film in Telugu, but those who love Tamil movies would be well aware of his capability. His first film, ‘Sathurunga Vettai’, was critically acclaimed and a big commercial success.

The trailer of ‘Khakee’ has blockbuster written all over it and it suggests that the director has done an extraordinary job. The film is going to be full of high octane action sequences. A major part of the action episodes were shot in Rajasthan. The trailer has already gotten a huge response.
