Prime Minister Narendra Modi is now facing severe criticism from not only the Opposition but also his former BJP senior colleagues for his economic policies,especially the ill-thought out and badly planned demonetisation and the GST.
The outlook for the Indian economy is bleak in all quarters and the only voices trying to sound positive are also hollow. The Reserve Bank of India last month said that its industrial outlook survey had “revealed a waning of optimism in Q2 about demand conditions across parameters and especially on capacity utilisation, profit margins and employment.”
