Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s one to one meeting with senior TDP leader Payyavula Kehhav at Anantapur raised several doubts in political circles. KCR met Keshav on the sidelines of participating in the marriage function of Andhra Pradesh minister P Sunitha’s son Sriram in Rayalaseema district.
Before leaving to Hyderabad, KCR called Keshav and discussed political developments taking place in Andhra Pradesh for more than 15 minutes. Keshav was unhappy as he was not inducted in Chandrababu Naidu’s cabinet.
Leaders said that KCR discussed about the presence of Kamma community in Telangana and the prominance given to them in his government. Speculations are doing rounds that KCR wanted to field a strong leader from Kamma community from the community dominated Kukatpally Assembly Constituency in Hyderabad. The plan to field Keshav from the constituency was also not ruled out.
Leaders said KCR was also keen to know the development taking place Andhra Pradesh and the strength of ruling TDP and opposition YSR Congress Party in the next elections.
