Court directs Mahesh Babu to attend hearing

In a major blow to Super Star Mahesh Babu, a court in Hyderabad asked him to appear before the court in regarding plagiarism issue.

It may be recalled here that Telugu novel writer named Sharath Chandra had filed a case against Srimanthudu makers stating that the story was copied from his novel.

Following the petition, the court directed Srimanthudu makers including Mahesh Babu and Koratala Siva to appear before the court.

Mahesh’s lawyer has filed a petition requesting the court to exempt Mahesh Babu from personal appearance in this case. However, the court asked Mahesh to be present in person in the next hearing.
