Former minister and BJP leader Kanna Laxminarayana while taking exception TDP Chief and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s double standards alleged that since the YSRCP Chief and Opposition leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy met the Prime Minister TDP leaders losing their cool. Chandrababu Naidu himself finds fault with the Prime Minister for giving an appointment to the Opposition leader and on the other he directs party leaders and the Ministers not to talk ill of BJP leadership. At a press conference Kanna asked why and how the TDP leaders finding fault in Opposition leader meeting the Prime Minister.

Instead making a hue and cry over PM- Jagan meet, the TDP leaders should give clarification on allegations made by the Opposition leader in his memorandum, Kanna pointed.

Kanna said that it became a habit for TDP leaders to criticise BJP central leadership, probably at the instance of Chandrababu Naidu. But, thinking he so smart, Naidu enters the scene to condemn TDP leaders for their anti – BJP stand. “This double game won’t go long” Kanna said added that the state party will take ‘drama’ to the notice of the party high command.

The BJP leader demanded Chandrababu Naidu to clarity on Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani statement that he get lesser majority in 2014 elections because of BJP alliance and the TDP can win more votes and seats in Vijayawada even without alliance with the BJP in 2019. “Is it his personnel stand or party (TDP) stand, Naidu should clarify” Kanna demanded. Meanwhile political observers feel TDP – BJP alliance is on the verge of collapse.
