With cabinet expansion finally became a reality, the political equation in Andhra Pradesh is fast changing. As the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu himself put it, it is not possible to accommodate all the aspirants in the cabinet. But that is not convincing many of the aspirants, particularly with the leaders who stood by the party in the thick and thin of situations. And on the other some of the turncoats who shifted loyalties from YSRCP to TDP after getting a clear assurance from Naidu of a cabinet berth as their ’quit-pro- quo’ right. If the sources in the party have to be believed party leaders the rift between old guards and turncoats is getting wider and wider with every passing minute. Some senior leaders including former minister Ramasubba Reddy, who is strongly opposing the induction of Adinarayana Reddy who shifted loyalties from YCP to TDP, Dhulipala Narendar and Payyavula Keshav have, send a warning to Naidu, according o sources.

Similarly the ministers who were lost their job are also churning with anger and anguish. The situation it is believed in the political circles, may lead to a open revolt in the party in due course.

“Immediately there may not be any open revolt as such but can’t be ruled out due course” according to senior journalist closely watching the party affairs for last three years.

Meanwhile another political observer said that it is not the disgust over cabinet berths, the every growing anti incumbency among and other ground realities are also threatening the MPs, MLAs and other senior leaders of their political future. In the last three years every other section including the farmers, youth and even government employees who supported the TDP are moving away from the party. So in the light of it every MLA is keenly watching the situation at the ground level. And the cumulative effect of all these developments will result into revolt in the party. Meanwhile most of the MLAs are looking at YSRCP as the gaining strength by every passing day. In fact according to YSRCP sources more a dozen MLA are in touch with party chief Jaganmohan Reddy. So the real game starts now..
