Another lavish “pre-wedding” party in times of demonetization

This time it is the Ambanis. They threw a lavish pre-wedding party on November 24^th in their palatial house ‘Antilla’ for their niece. It was to celebrate Isheta, the daughter of Raj & Dipti Salgaocar who will wed Neeshal Modi, the younger brother of luxury diamantaire, Nirav Modi on December 4^th in Goa.

The guests mainly consisted of Bollywood actors and actresses, and it was a magical evening, according to them. News had it that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Kapoor were holding hands while leaving the party, but the ill-timed extravagance by the Ambanis was not much highlighted by the media.

The event also showcased Manish Malhotra, the famous Indian designer’s most extravagant collections and also featured a dance which paid tribute to Bollywood through the ages which was choreographed by Farah Khan. Manish Malhotra posted the unbelievable grand pictures on his Instagram and termed it as some ‘special moments with the incredible Ambanis.’ The Bacchan family and Shah Rukh Khan were present in the event.

The wedding is now awaited in Goa and is expected to be a most lavish and elaborate affair, After the pre- wedding celebration in Mumbai, the families and guests will move to Goa at the Salgaocar-owned Goa Marriott Resort & Spa.

The rich are definitely not the targets of the demonetization move. It simply cannot affect their life style.
