The audio of ‘Betaludu’ was released in Hyderabad yesterday. The event was attended by Vijay Antony, his wife Fatima Antony, Yandamuri Veerendranath, Boyapati Sreenu, Bellamkonda Suresh, Nikhil, Suresh Kondeti and others.
Boyapati Sreenu said, “Yandamuri Veerendranath garu once said that there are very few actors in Telugu who can deliver a settled performance. The fact is that our actors can deliver that if only the writers and directors reform themselves. Provided there are out-of-box ideas, they will deliver a settled performance. Cinema is not about talking on the stage. The screenplay should do the talking. ‘Bicchagadu’ belongs to that category. I hope ‘Betaludu’ will be a big hit like that movie. Vijay Antony always chooses good subjects. Good subjects are always lapped up by our Telugu audience.”
Vijay Antony said, “I am waiting for this film’s release with a lot of excitement. I never expected this kind of affection at this stage. I thought this kind of acceptance will come to me after 20-25 movies. But I am glad that I got this acceptance after just 3 movies.”
Nikhil said, “‘Betaludu’ is an out-of-the-box movie. Watching the teaser and the first ten minutes of the movie, one can say with certainty that it’s not a regular movie. Most of the 200 movies made in Tollywood are commercial. We should patronize films like ‘Betaludu’ as well. Only if we encourage movies like this will interesting subjects be made.”
