Lokesh announces  that  he is  not yet ready for the  post of “minister”

Amid mounting speculation over Telugu Desam Party National General Secretary and Chief Minister Naidu’s son Nara Lokesh’s inclusion as minister, he has said that he is not yet ready for the post. He further added that his present post is bigger than that of Minister and he had great responsibility to fulfill.

Mr. Lokesh said that he had met UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav recently in Hyderabad and the latter had told him that the Samajwadi Party and the TDP were the only two national parties that had a strong party cadre.

But the recent developments in the Yadav family had set him thinking. However, a few senior leaders of the party felt that his remarks could send wrong signals to the cadre. Mr. Lokesh has emerged as key person in the party and he has been involved in all key decisions in the last two years and the signals so far to the all cadres was that he is being groomed as the heir apparent to Mr. Naidu.
