YSRCP to continue SCS struggle

Series of public meeting planned

YSR Congress party the main Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and spearheading the long drawn agitation to achieve Special Category Statues (SCS) to the State has decided to take it to logical conclusion, said party floor leader in the AP Assembly Upper House Umareddy Venkateswarlu, in Hyderabad on Monday. He said that the party has decided to hold series of public meeting to mount pressure on both State and the Central government to concede public demand. Umareddy along with Rajya Sabha MP Vijaya Sai Reddy, legislator Chevireddy Bhaskara Reddy, former minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana and party official spokes person Vasireddy Padma observed that the TDP government is still deceiving the public on SCS issue and added that YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy will expose the government through public meetings. The leaders said that the first of the five meeting planned will be held in Visakhapatnam on November 6 and released the poster and other publicity material to media.
