To lend a helping hand to the underprivileged children, mega power star Ram Charan’s wife Upasana Konidela joined hands with NGO named SAHI.
She took to her Twitter handle and said that 5-6℅ of Indian population is afflicted with hearing problem of some magnitude. “Every year approximately 5-6% of the total Indian population is afflicted with a hearing problem of some magnitude. It became imperative to start an organization, which would help those who couldn’t afford the expensive treatments for the impaired hearing,”she tweeted.
She further wrote,” SAHI (Society to Aid the Hearing Impaired) is an Indian NGO aimed at helping underprivileged children with impaired hearing. To date it has helped many children fulfill their dreams of hearing normally and has given hope to many more.”
