GHMC demolish the unauthorized constructions

The capital city of Telangana, Hyderabad is censured once again with demolition of illegal constructions by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation(GHMC). The officials of the GHMC have been continuing the demolition process of illegal constructions which are paving problems for effecting functioning of drainages. Eleven unauthorized constructions built on nalas and lakes were pulled down. Besides, 15 constructions with illegal floors were also razed. Demolition of old and dilapidated buildings also continued and a total of 13 such structures faced the hammer. GHMC Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy has supervised the situation and the operation conducted by following the orders from the office CMO. K Chandrasekhar Rao had issued the orders to pull down 28,000 illegal constructions that came up on storm water drains in Hyderabad. GHMC Commissioner Janardhan Reddy has conducted a video conference with officials concerned and passed out necessary instructions. On the other hand, municipal administration minister KTR has made it clear that there is no excuse for anyone, who have raised illegal constructions. Authorities today demolished of unauthorised constructions made after encroaching on nalas, lakes and drains under various circles of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
