Akkineni Akhil was supposed to make his debut on Dasara but due to some issues with the visual effects the film was postponed. There were many rumours that this flick would release on Sankranti next year causing disappointment to his fans. But now they finally confirmed that ‘Akhil’ will hit the theatres on November 11th on the occasion of Diwali. But here is a big threat for that film.
It is known that Akhil would be launched in Telugu as well as Tamil with the same film. Tamil version’s producer C.Kalyan even planned to invite Rajnikanth for the audio launch. But November 11th release is worrying him because two big Tamil films are releasing on the same day. One will be Kamal Hassan’s ‘Thoongavanam’ released as ‘Cheekati Rajyam’ in Telugu and another will be ‘Thala’ Ajith’s ‘Vedhalam’. If this happens there would be no theatres left for ‘Akhil’ in Tamil Nadu. Anyway, there is no problem for Akhil in Telugu as there are no big releases that time.
