Recently Governor of Malacca state in Malaysia, Mahammed Khalil Taakob, met Rajni and said that he is a big fan of the actor. He even requested the Malaysian government that Rajni should be honoured with prestigious title ‘Datuk’ which is like a British Knighthood. Reports are that even Malaysian government responded positively and decided to confer him with Royal Malaysian Title in a grand way.
