‘Janatha Garage’….. This is the title fixed for the NTR-Koratala Siva movie. The title itself is quite interesting because NTR did not have such a title in the past. Koratala is now one of the star directors after huge success of ‘Srimanthudu’. Audience have pinned huge hopes on this film. But if we look at the past, this combination is not lucky for Tarak.
Few years back NTR picked the directors who had scored blockbuster hits. He made ‘Ooservelli’ with Surrender Reddy after huge success of ‘Kick’. But that failed at the box-office. Then he picked Boyapati Sreenu who gave a super hit film ‘Simha’ for Balakrishna and made ‘Dhammu’. It became a disaster. After ‘Dookudu’ success, he made ‘Baadshah’ with Sreenu Vytla. Thankfully, that film was a hit. He roped in Harish Shankar to make ‘Ramayya Vastaavayya’ with him as Harish scored a blockbuster with ‘Gabbar Singh’ and it was a huge disaster. Even ‘Rabhasa’ made with Santosh Srinivas of ‘Kandireega’ fame was also a flop.
In the same way, Koratala is making this film with NTR after ‘Srimanthudu’, so many are worried about the film. But if the movie has content and interesting screenplay, nothing can stop the success of the film. Hope that Koratala scores hat trick hits with this film.
